BlueStar is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to empowering the next generation of Israel advocates and leaders. Our project disseminates free resources for campus and community activists, teaches four Israel education programs: Write On For Israel/San Francisco teen, pre-college, and grown up programs as well as BlueStar Fellows, a program for college students.
Demonizing and delegitimizing Israel is endemic on many college campuses and in many communities. Our poster and video resources help volunteers humanize perceptions of Israel and show how Israelis are building a more peaceful and hopeful future for their children.
Write On For Israel/San Francisco Teen Program
Each year, nearly 100,000 Jewish high school graduates enter college mostly unprepared to deal with the anti-Israel environment on many campuses. The Write On For Israel/San Francisco teen program goal is to change that by giving young people a background in Jewish and Israeli history, and teaching them the critical thinking skills and tools necessary for them to become powerful pro-Israel advocates, spokespeople and opinion leaders - before they reach college.
BlueStar's College Stay Program
BlueStar’s College Stay program is a uniquely transformative Israel education program for high school students in which you join other teens and college students for a weekend of fun and activities. Learn from Hillel leaders and students, Israel experts, and people with fascinating stories at a weekend retreat.
BlueStar Fellows College Program
Many Jewish communal strategies exist to educate students about Israel and advocacy skills. However, no program combines three areas — fighting anti-Israel vitriol, being an advocate for Israel and dealing with bullying — into a specialized solution. The BlueStar Fellows program helps Jewish college students overcome anti-Israel campus experiences with their self-esteem and passion for Israel intact.
Write On For Israel Adult Program
Whether you’re interested in strengthening our community’s voice against unfair media coverage or simply looking for ways to counter an anti-Israel comment at a cocktail party, our goal is for a program that makes sure everyone who cares about Israel’s future can discover their courage, learn advocacy skills and feel empowered by the support of like-minded peers. The Write On For Israel adult program includes an optional trip to Israel to explore issues in further detail.
Israel: The New Investment Frontier Conference

Planned for the future in San Francisco, this informative and interactive one-day conference will feature talks by investors, angels, VCs and fund managers to provide a deeply educational look at Israeli investment opportunities, including public equities, private equity and venture capital, political risk and regulatory framework.
