Here’s why you should care:
The Union of Colleges and Universities recently passed a motion which encourages its members to boycott Israeli academics and education institutions. Rather than promoting Middle East peace, this proposal would do the reverse by limiting cooperation among scientists, controlling freedom of expression, and inhibiting the free exchange of ideas between 120,000 UK lecturers and their Israeli counterparts.
