Druze Tennis Center (E3)

Druze Tennis Center (E3)
Description:

When people play together they learn to coexist. That’s what makes the new Israel Tennis Center in Sajur, a Druze village in northern Israel so important.

The 85,000 members of Israel’s Arabic-speaking Druze minority are loyal to the state and are well represented in high-ranking positions within the Israeli military. However, the Druze remain a traditional society and are still coming to terms with modernity.

Israel’s Tennis Centers are helping hundreds of thousands of Israeli children as young as seven - Arab and Israeli, secular and religious, native-born and newly immigrated - to learn basic life skills necessary for success and coexistence.
