Poster HomeWhere in the Middle East is there freedom of expression? Israel.
Freedom of expression is one of the cornerstones of democracy in Israel. Israeli laws enable members of its society to openly evaluate and criticize its government, to demonstrate freely, and to disseminate information and opinions for the public interest. Israelis are free to express minority views and even views that are considered irritating, extreme, and unacceptable to the government and the majority of Israelis.
